Blog Hop!


It's Friday again, so time for the Blog Hop! It's hosted by Crazy-For-Books.

This week's question:

Tell us about some of your favorite authors and why they are your favorites!

My answer:

There's so many, so I'll just name a few.
-Suzanne Collins, author of Hunger Games and Gregor the Overlander, great series!
-JK Rowling, author of Harry Potter series of course
-Libba Bray, author of A Great and Terrible Beauty trilogy.

I love these authors because they know how to create really good characters and situations that capture reader's attention. They know how to tell a story and build on it and provide great twists! I hope to read more from these authors in the future.

    Hey. New follower alert! I have The Hunger Games and have read it yet. I am so afraid to be let down by it that I am nervous to read it. I love J.K. Rowlings. I really wish she would write at least one more Harry Potter book, there were rumors of a prequel featuring Harry's parents but I guess it wasn't true. :(

    I haven't read any of your favorite authors! I do have the first Libba Bray book in my TBR pile. I also liked The Forest of Hands and Teeth a lot, but I haven't had a chance to read The Dead-Tossed Waves yet.

    Thanks for hopping by my blog! I havent read any Libba Bray, so maybe I'll give The Luxe a try!I hear she has a new series coming out soon. I think it's supposed to be set in the 1920's.

As of 1/17/11, Book Infinity is an awards-free blog. My schedule is busy as could be, and I don't have time to follow all the rules to pass them on. But I really do appreciate the thought, thanks so much for thinking about me!
