Farewell 2010, It's Been A Good Year!

I didn't read nearly as much as I wished I did this year... Next year will be a lot better, I promise!

My Top 10 Reads of 2010 (that I reviewed on my blog):

Yes, I actually did rank them in order. They are not neccesarily 2010 releases, though most of them are.

1. Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
2. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
3. Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
4. Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
5. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
6. Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken
7. Linger by Maggie Stiefvater
8. Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce
9. Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers
10. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

About 75% of those are debut authors. Lots to look forward to in the years to come!

Most Anticipated Books of 2011

Delirium by Lauren Oliver (I'm currently reading this, but figured I'd mention it anyway since it's good!)
City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare
Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
Stolen Nights by Rebecca Maizel
Forever by Maggie Stiefvater
Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer
Wither by Lauren DeStefano
Entwined by Heather Dixon
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Sweetly by Jackson Pearce
Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting
The Dark and Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan
Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton

And so many, many more!

2010 was good, but 2011 can only get better! (Let's hope so :))

  1. Awesome pair of lists! I also loved Mockingjay and Sisters Red this year, and I'm looking forward to pretty much all of the books you listed for 2011 (especially Fallen Angels and the Dark and Hollow Places). Anyway, have a very Happy New Year, Ava! :)

Thanks for the comments! I read every single one and try to reply, either on your blog or another comment! They make my day!

As of 1/17/11, Book Infinity is an awards-free blog. My schedule is busy as could be, and I don't have time to follow all the rules to pass them on. But I really do appreciate the thought, thanks so much for thinking about me!
